Great service and product

Great service and product. This flyscreen is easy to install and works really well keeping Flys out of the house. The cats are still able to get out their cat flap too. Much sturdier fabric then what you can buy at Bunnings or Mitre 10. Highly recommended

The most satisfied i have been with a company in a while…

The most satisfied i have been with a product in a long time. They delivered above expectations. I was looking for a fly screen and ordered with bespoke measurements to fit my sliding door. Their instructions were very clear and the product fits perfectly. Materials are robust, magnets are strong and it looks very good now that it is installed. So much crap is sold online, this company is a stand out. I am a very satisfied customer ( and now flies free:))

Surprisingly brilliant!

I needed a simple to install, simple to use product, to combat incessant flies coming in through our upstairs balcony in Brisbane. The door being open is essential for the all important breeze, but the flies were unwelcome. Magnetic options were not ideal, and traditional fly screen mesh blocks the breeze. Amazingly, the dangling chains block no breeze, do not block the view much as the loops in the chain are quite open, and not a single fly!!! And I can just unhook it and take it down if I do not want it there all the time. Also amazingly, this product was delivered in just a few days, in the days before Christmas. Tick, tick, tick. Highly recommend the product and company for prompt service.

Definitely recommend - have had good results

I have ordered 3 screens from the magnetic door company. They are on the outside of my house and I leave them up all summer. They last about 2 years with the wear and tear but I would recommend them - they keep the mosquitos and flies out and are simple to use and do not detract from my view

Excellent quality

This Screen Door solution was far superior to the cheaper ones. It uses better double-sided tape and Velcro. You can also get it in white.

Is it safe to touch the surface?

Yes. The charged mesh sits behind an outer guard on both faces, so a hand or a paw does not reach it. Keep it away from small children anyway, as you would any electrical item.

How is it charged?

Through the USB socket on the handle. There are no batteries to buy or throw away.

How long does a charge last?

It depends how much you use it. A full charge covers a normal summer evening comfortably, and it takes a couple of hours to charge back up.

Is a USB cable included?

Yes, a charging cable comes in the box. Any standard USB power supply will charge it.

What is the LED light for?

Seeing what you are swatting after dark. It sits on the handle and lights the area in front of the racket.

Does it use chemicals or spray?

No. Nothing is sprayed and nothing is released into the air. That is the reason people choose one over a repellent.

Is it noisy?

No. There is a click when it makes contact and nothing otherwise.

Can I use it indoors around food?

Yes. It emits nothing, so there is no residue on surfaces or food preparation areas.

Is it safe around pets?

The guard on both faces is there to stop a paw or a nose reaching the mesh. Store it out of reach when you are not using it.

Can I clean it?

Wipe it with a damp cloth. Do not run it under a tap and do not put it in a dishwasher.

Does it work on mosquitoes as well as flies?

Yes, and on moths and other flying insects. The large head is what makes a mosquito catchable in the air.

How big is the head?

Wide enough to catch an insect in flight without having to aim precisely, which is the whole point of the racket shape.

Can I use it outside?

Yes. Bring it in afterwards and do not leave it out in the rain.

Will it kill bees?

It will kill wasps, bees - basically whatever you want to kill - the electric shock is strong and you can keep sending the shock as long as you hold the buton down - we use it primarily to kill wasps

Will it work for moths?

Most definitely. I wanted it for carpenter bees and wasps, but the more fragile the insect, the more lethal this weapon becomes.

Is it cheaply made?

It's made from ABS and not cheap plastic. It is very high quality.

How long is the racket from top to bottom and how long is the racket head itself?

The racket is 44.7cm (18.8") top to bottom and the grid is 19cm (7.6") wide and 25cm (10") long

Does it work on fleas ?

Yes

Does it have only one surface to kill the bugs or both sides do the job?

The metal mesh that shocks is in between another metal net layer, but it zaps from either side.

Will it work on spotted lantern flies? They’re pretty big...

Yes, but you may need to zap them again or finish them off with a paper towel, because sometimes they are only stunned, not dead.

Will this work on murder hornets?

Yes

Would these be strong enough to kill cicada killer wasps?

Yes

Does it glow at night to attract bugs?

No it doesnt glow. only sparks when you chase and hit the bugs.

Do I need to press the working indicator button everytime I need to zap? Or is that just to indicate the battery life?

There is a on off switch for when you're not using it and the button needs to be pressed to zap the bugs.

How do you clean this?

Use a dry brush to clean the electric mosquito swatter.

If the outer mesh does not shock, how does it kill the bugs? The outer mesh would keep them from reaching the inside mesh wouldn't it?

The product has a 3-layer mesh, both outer side is mainly for protection, protecting you from accidentally touching. The outer openings are larger than the electrified inner mesh, thus flies, mosquitos, and other insects can fit through and touch the inner mesh resulting in them being zapped.
