Why a screen has to close itself
Most door screens fail the same way. They work perfectly when you have a free hand, and the rest of the time they get propped open with a foot, a bag or a knee, and the flies walk in behind you.
That is the whole reason we sell magnetic screens. Magnets run down the centre seam, so you walk at it, it opens, and it pulls itself shut again while your hands are still full. Nothing to slide, nothing to swing, and nothing to remember.
Stock sizes, fitted without tools
Our screens fit inside the door frame, not to the wall, so there is no drilling and no tradesman. Ten minutes and a tape measure is the whole job, and it comes back down at the end of summer without marking the frame, which matters if you rent.
Sizes are standard rather than made to measure: ten widths from 60cm to 180cm, in 210cm or 240cm heights, in black or white. Measure your frame, pick the size that covers it, and it ships from stock.
Being straight about what it is
A mesh screen is not a security door and it is not an insect-proof seal. It stops what walks and flies into an open doorway, which is what most people actually want in summer. For a doorway in constant commercial use, a chain or string curtain is usually a better answer than mesh, and we do not sell those.
We would rather say that up front than take the order and hear about it later. Where we do not have a figure, such as the mesh grade, we say so on the page instead of guessing.
How we work
We are an online shop with no physical premises, which is how the prices stay where they are. You order on this site, pay by card through Stripe or by PayPal, and we ship right across Australia. Delivery is free on orders of $75 or more, and a flat $27.50 under that, arriving 5-7 days, after a 24-48 hour order handling and processing time.

Yes, every state and territory. Free on orders over $75, otherwise a flat $27.50.
Do you deliver outside Australia?
Our delivery zone is Australia. Email us before ordering if you are elsewhere and we will tell you what we can do.

Orders are handled and packed within 24 to 48 hours of payment clearing.

Can you make a screen to my measurements?
Yes. Use the custom size quote form with the width and height of your frame.
Do you sell any other kind of doorway screen?
No. We sell magnetic mesh screens only. A doorway in constant commercial use is often better served by a hanging curtain of chain or plastic strip, and we do not stock that kind.
Is the screen a security door?
No. It is an insect screen. It stops what flies and walks into an open doorway, and it is not a barrier against anything else.
What is the mesh grade?
Coated fibreglass at 15 by 17 density. Where the supplier does not publish a figure we say so rather than estimating it.
Are the screens fire rated?
The material is a glass fibre flame retardant type, often sold as fireproof mesh. It is not a rated fire barrier and should not be treated as one.
Do you hold stock?
Yes. Every listed size is a stock size, which is why nothing here is made to order.
What happens if something arrives damaged?
Tell us and we will put it right. Faulty or misdescribed goods are covered by the consumer guarantees in the Australian Consumer Law.
Do you take card payments?
Yes, and PayPal. The checkout is secure and we never see your card details.
Will you email me marketing?
Only if you ask us to. Our privacy policy sets out exactly what we do with your details.
Do you use eco friendly packaging?
We use an Eco Pack and work with our delivery partners to reduce the carbon footprint of getting your order to you.
Can I change my order after placing it?
Email us as fast as you can. If it has not shipped we can usually amend it.
How do I track an order?

Do you price match?
We sell direct at the lowest price we can hold. Ask us if you have seen the same product cheaper and we will tell you honestly whether we can do better.

The support team is shared across the group. Australian orders are handled from Australian stock and delivered from Australia.
